Tally, I have two wonderful little boys who both suffer from neurological issues that I feel is related to the use of Pitocin. I did not have contractions with either labor therefore could not progress after my water broke. I was told Pitocin is 100% safe by TWO seperate doctors! Both of my children were born extremely rapidly, my oldest is on the Autistic Spectrum ( or so they tell me), and my youngest was so bruised at birth from midchest up you couldn't even see his eyes. He has damage to the left side of his body, weakness, a drooping eyelid, his left leg turns inward, at age 3 months they told us he has Horner's Syndrome caused from rapid birth which was because of the Pitocin. He has been very ill since birth with numerous admissions to the hospital with aspiration pneumonia as he has GERDS which means he reluxes his food, and respiratory issues. He is now 4 years old and screams with headaches daily, has general weakness of the left side of his body, has issues with eating, his bowels etc.. they tell me this is all due to neurological damage. Both of my children have neurological issues including fine motor skills. If I could turn back time, I would of insisted on a C-Section. Pitocin maybe safe for some women but my body couldn't handle it. I had no idea what was wrong with my first son, and sadly it was not until after my youngest was born with a lot of neurological issues also did I put two and two together.Both has respiratory issues at birth also. Both now have asthma. How is your little one? What is wrong? You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary
