I had a spontaneous vag. delivery 11-29-02. I was given an abdominal hysterectomy to save my life after doctor's tried for approx. 2 hrs. to stop hemorrhaging. I was explained I had "uterine atony". My baby was delivered with a "face presentation". I am trying to find out if my uterine atony could have been caused because I had a vag.delivery with a baby that presented "face" first.
