I understand what you are saying. But, the bottom line is, when they put the ripening gel in me the night before and I was having problems and a lot of pain , that she should have realized then that my cervix was hurting do to hyperstimulation. Because of the hyperstimulation and the constant onset of pitocin at 30 uu from beginning to end, where as I was in pain from the get go, not normal I might add as I have talked several times with my good friend who is an nurse who worked in a birthing center for years told me that it clearly states that the nurse lacked common sense as far as my pain and the amount given to me all at once. If she had started out with a lower dosage, perhaps my cervix and lower segment of my uterus would not have tore like it had done. I was taken down to surgery for the repairs because, they made the mistake. I shouldn't feel guilty by any means as to how I feel right now towards my previous doctor and the nursing staff at the hospital. The nurse conducting the induction SHOULD have been more receptive to my pain and my vital signs as well. I should not feel any guilt for what had happened as I was the victim. Not the doctor, not the staff. My precious daughter and I were the victims of their negligence.
