Melissa, There is a definite link to autism and neurological disorders caused by pitocin. My son and daughter both have some moderate problems. Lauryn has hydrocephalus which is possibly linked to pitocin and my son Heath is getting evaluated for speech problems and possibly autism. It is very sad that we are all victimized by this terrible drug and the unfortuanate circumstances that were set forth because of it. We went in expecting healthy children and as our babies grew older the damage has become more noticeable. I do not reccommend the usage of pitocin to any one.
