Today I found out that my little Aaron has more than just Horner's Syndrome. He has something wrong with his cerebellum and also cerebellar tonsillar ectopia. He is also having high blood sugars. He will go for more test this week. Yesterday he has MRI of head, neck and spine done and was put to sleep for about two hours. The big picture here is this ladies: Who is to blame? IS is me, the mother?? NO! Is it my healthcare provider? I think not. Why? Because of this... He and I were the consumers of the product Pitocin. The pharmacutical who makes Pitocin is to blame. They sold me and the doctor the product. They should know what their product did before they put it on the market. Instead they seen dollar signs and "sold" the product. This is no less the same as if you and I going to purchase a new car from a dealership. We only know what the dealer tells us about the car...what if he fails to tell us that it was dropped off the hauler when it was delivered to the lot? Are we to blame when the car has problems because he failed to tell us the true? NO!.I can't blame myself for this nor can I blame my physician. I do however, blame the makers. I hope they are happy with how big their bank accounts are...it is sad and sick to think that there are people out there who are more concerned over money then they are human lives. Nothing is more precious then life. I will not be the judge of what their actions are...that is not my job.If I sound angry, well I am. I see innocent people hurting because of the makers and the marketers of Pitocin. Those involved are the mothers, their families, the babies and the medical field. Not fair at all! Just wanted to get to the bottom line...the makers of Pitocin need to stop the making of Pitocin, they have done enough damage for money! MARY
