Does anyone know where I can find out what the guidelines are on the package of pitocin. I want to know if I was given too much too fast after repeatedly telling the nurse to shut it off, she wouldn't, and I felt like I was going to explode. I didn't, and my doctor didn't show up until 5 minutes before the delivery. When I talked to her about it, she said she wasn't there, and it was a judgment call as to why they didn't shut it off as requested. I was talking out of pain, not really meaning that I wanted it shut off. Whatever!!
