I am 6 days past my due date and the midwife wants to induce tomorrow. I didn't feel either way about it until I started to look things up on Pitocin and induction of labor in general. It terrifies me that doctors do this on such a regular basis. But what if I wait and wait and the baby just gets bigger and bigger, then I have to have a C-section (which I think would be terrible) or something goes wrong. I mean, the placenta itself is only made to last, at the most, 42 weeks. If anybody has any comments that might help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
