I had a natural, wonderful birth. My concern was the pitocin I was put on after the birth to help my uterus contract back to normal size. I was going to discuss induction with my doctor the day Anthony was born. I am so glad he did it all on his own. As I was changing from L&D to post-pardum, I was taken off the IVs. When I got to my PP room, the IVs were turned back on. The severe pain I was in intensified by 100s of %s. OUCH!!!!!! I have read nothing but negative things about pitocin and the dangers it can bring with it's use. I now see that a pitocin induced labor is not only dangerous, but it is also painful, and often times prolonged. I don't like Pitocin, I don't like it at all.
